Help & FAQ
How can we help?
Quick answers to the questions we hear most. Still stuck? The contact form reaches a real person.
What is Heady Scout?
A discovery layer for the jam and roots scene: the emerging and touring bands in the lineage of the Grateful Dead and Phish, plus the Americana and Dead-tribute acts that share the same rooms and crowds. We pair show listings across the US and Canada with the music itself, so you can hear a band before you commit a night to them. Want the longer version? Read how Heady Scout works.
Where does the show data come from?
Listings are compiled daily from venues’ own published calendars and official event-listing partners, then matched to the bands we track. Because details can change after we pull them, the venue is always the authority. Always confirm the date, set time, and tickets with the venue before you make plans or travel.
How do I report a wrong or missing show?
Spot a date that looks off, a show that already happened, or a band we’re missing? Tell us through the contact form. Paste the page link and what looks wrong, and a real person will sort it out. That feedback is exactly what we’re building on while coverage expands across the country.
I run a venue. How do I request a correction or claim my page?
Reach out through the contact form and let us know which venue you represent. We can fix listing details, update your room’s information, and note that you’re the point of contact for your page.
What is your ticket-link policy?
Every ticket link points to the venue or its official primary seller. We never link resale. If a ticket link ever sends you to a resale marketplace, that is a bug, so please report it through the contact form.
How do I contact you?
The fastest way is the contact form, which reaches a real person who reads every message.
